Booking Terms & Conditions – Paddle Beyond

Effective Date: 17 April 2025

By booking an activity with Paddle Beyond (a trading name of Broome Island CIC), you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Bookings & Payment

  • Bookings can be made online, via email, phone, or in person.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • A 20% deposit is non-refundable.
  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • You may reschedule your booking up to 48 hours in advance for free.
  • You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours in advance for a refund, minus the 20% non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are not eligible for a refund.
  • If Paddle Beyond cancels your booking (e.g. due to unsafe water conditions or weather), you will receive a full refund minus any booking platform fees.

3. Safety & Participation

  • Participants should be in reasonable health.
  • You do not need to be able to swim, but a buoyancy aid will be provided and must be worn at all times.
  • All sessions include a safety briefing, which is part of your activity time.
  • Paddle Beyond reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit or unsafe to take part.

4. Age Requirements

  • Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult (18+).
  • Parents/guardians must ensure children follow safety guidance.

5. Equipment

  • All essential safety equipment, including buoyancy aids, is provided.
  • Customers are responsible for any loss or damage to hired equipment due to negligence.

6. Group & Private Bookings

  • Group and private rates may be available on request.
  • Special terms may apply; please contact us directly for details.

7. Weather & Cancellations by Us

  • Bookings may be cancelled at our discretion if conditions are unsafe (e.g. strong currents, flooding, extreme weather).
  • You will be offered a refund (minus booking fees) or rescheduling where possible.

8. Complaints

  • We aim to resolve any concerns quickly and fairly.
  • Please email info@paddlebeyond.co.uk with any issues regarding your experience.

9. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
