Booking Terms & Conditions – Paddle Beyond
Effective Date: 17 April 2025
By booking an activity with Paddle Beyond (a trading name of Broome Island CIC), you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Bookings & Payment
- Bookings can be made online, via email, phone, or in person.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- A 20% deposit is non-refundable.
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
- You may reschedule your booking up to 48 hours in advance for free.
- You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours in advance for a refund, minus the 20% non-refundable deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are not eligible for a refund.
- If Paddle Beyond cancels your booking (e.g. due to unsafe water conditions or weather), you will receive a full refund minus any booking platform fees.
3. Safety & Participation
- Participants should be in reasonable health.
- You do not need to be able to swim, but a buoyancy aid will be provided and must be worn at all times.
- All sessions include a safety briefing, which is part of your activity time.
- Paddle Beyond reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit or unsafe to take part.
4. Age Requirements
- Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult (18+).
- Parents/guardians must ensure children follow safety guidance.
5. Equipment
- All essential safety equipment, including buoyancy aids, is provided.
- Customers are responsible for any loss or damage to hired equipment due to negligence.
6. Group & Private Bookings
- Group and private rates may be available on request.
- Special terms may apply; please contact us directly for details.
7. Weather & Cancellations by Us
- Bookings may be cancelled at our discretion if conditions are unsafe (e.g. strong currents, flooding, extreme weather).
- You will be offered a refund (minus booking fees) or rescheduling where possible.
8. Complaints
- We aim to resolve any concerns quickly and fairly.
- Please email info@paddlebeyond.co.uk with any issues regarding your experience.
9. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
